The 2019 Teaching and Learning conference invites participants to engage in critical debate and discussion around the important theme of Universal Design. In particular, it seeks to explore the critical question of how higher education can meet challenges posed by changing cultural expectations around the role and function of higher education and the implications of this shift to staff and students.

The website system only enables us to advertise this event as taking place on 3rd and 4th May. However, please note that this is a one-day conference and takes place on 3rd May only.

 

Our 2019 conference has the following theme:

Universal Design: meeting the teaching and learning challenges in 21st Century Higher Education.

 

The sub-themes are:

  • Developing self-regulated learners
  • Engagement of learners
  • Professional competencies
  • Student voice
  • Addressing the attainment gap
  • Digital learning

The deadline for receipt of abstract submissions has been extended until Monday 11th February 2019.
